The Rendlesham Forest "UFO" Event - and a Few Things You May Not Know About it - Mysterious Universe

Like its namesake, the "English Roswell" has accrued tons of explanations besides the one concerning an out-of-this-world visit to a U.S. military base. Nick Redfern indicates ways to clarify matters if Those Who Know decide to come forward. In Mysteries of Our Moon: Secret Bases, NASA and UFOs Nick suggests that a military base might exist a quarter million miles away. Nick adduces two stories and a real former program to support his conjectures that we, somebody else, or SOMETHING else might have been involved. Nick follows a rather similar tack in Secret Aircraft That Were Probably Mistaken for UFOs. Only here Nick does strongly incline to the possibility of U.S.-made stuff starring. Well, Paul Seaburn suggests a way is coming to get out of some of our quandary, as he says Get Ready for Some Clear Photos of UFOs. Paul notes the work Harvard's Avi Loeb and Julius-Maximilians-Universitat Wurzburg's Hakan Kayal are doing--and there are others--to get "a high resolution image of something unusual." (WM)
