Learner Dad: I Don't Believe In Ghosts But I Think We Might Have A Poltergeist - Irish Examiner

We start the week with things that go bump in the night, knock on walls, or in the case of this story, furtively sneak into the kitchen and make off with cooking utensils. To be fair, the utensils eventually get returned, but only after sufficient angst is caused by their disappearance. This begs the question, what are Poltergeist: Noisy Ghosts or Misbehaving Minds? This report looks at the phenomenon with a somewhat different (and welcome) perspective. Rather than simply blaming polt activity on the most conveniently located teenage girl, Ashley Knibb suggests we also look into the mental/emotional states of investigators who may be the cause of the very activity they are investigating. We close off with a bit of a warning that not all poltergeist activity is harmless or merely annoying. The Poltergeist: One of the Most Dangerous Supernatural Entities describes how a noisy ghost infestation can be "powered" by an individual who is eventually drained by the alarming activity they are unconsciously manifesting.
