Jason Colavito notes a Reddit post indicating "that Peter Thiel, the billionaire rightwing venture capitalist who flirts with white nationalism, has succeeded Robert Bigelow as the new patron of the UFO industry." Jason links to that Reddit exchange and its "surprising number of connections among UFO figures and Thiel's firm, Thiel Capital." While admitting "There is as yet no evidence to connect these developments" and having noted that Garry Nolan and Diana Pasulka appear in his information, Jason segues into the Marwa ElDiwiny/Garry Nolan interview we profiled on Thursday. Lex Fridman's interview with Nolan also got Jason's attention: Garry Nolan Goes Full UFO, Talks Shape-Shifting, Psychic Projections, Nonsense, where he notes that Nolan is the "James" in Pasulka's American Cosmic. Jason finds Nolan's efforts illogical and his definition of "reverse engineering" rather novel, and he rather insinuates that Nolan is chasing money. In the second article, Jason attacks "fantastical statements" and "bizarre speculations," repeating the theme "Nolan is currently angling for Pentagon research money."
