A historic landmark and noted spook hangout in Texas has been destroyed by fire this month. The De Soto Hotel provided two star lodging for (brave) guests for more than a century, and was recently host to a paranormal investigation. Some folks think the paranormal poking around riled up the spooks, causing them to wreck the place permanently. No news on a rebuild as yet. But over in England there are contractors who aren't too sure about showing up for work:
Construction Workers Report Eerie Activity at Haunting Building in England. It's a refurb job on an already haunted building, so no one should be surprised by ethereal building inspectors. Maybe some of them could be put to work. Is there a trade union for the restless dead? (CM)
