Mysterious Brain Syndrome Grips Canada - Deccan Herald

A cluster of 48 unexplained neurological disorders--insomnia, impaired motor function and hallucinations such as nightmarish visions of the dead--in a population of only 750,000 over the past 9 years is somewhat alarming. Experts think it's related to cataract surgery. Let's hope people start going out of province for that procedure because we don't like those odds. In other inexplicable news, 15 Elephants Are on a Mysterious, Epic Journey Across China . Likely on the move due to habitat destruction, the herd has been shrinking and growing over the years, often finding their meals in farmers' fields.  And now we learn that the Wandering herd take well deserved rest. "Scientists say this is the furthest any of the wild elephants there have travelled from the habitat." (CM)
