Scientists Say Life On Mars Could Be Deep Underground — Giant Sandworms? - Mysterious Universe

Let's go off-planet to get our minds off the pandemic, wildfires, and the US presidential election. There are indications that the Red Planet--the source of unholy terrors according to the Saturday Afternoon Monster Movies of our misspent youth--could be teeming with life below the surface where warmer temperatures and high pressure may result in the presence of liquid water. Thankfully Sand Worms can't swim. But wait--there's more: “The Martians: Evidence of Life on the Red Planet is Nick Redfern's latest book. It makes some strong arguments for life under the surface of Mars, as well as the CIA's interest in finding out more. Suffice to say there's more to the whole Mars mystery than alien hunters and pareidolia. (CM)
