Here's The FAA Report, Full ATC Audio From The 'Guy In A Jetpack' Incident Near LAX - The War Zone

Remember that strange story about a guy flying a jetpack in the approaches to Los Angeles International Airport at the end of August? Well, a FOIA has enabled The War Zone writers Tyler Rogoway and Joseph Trevithick to give a few more details on the matter and offer an FAA air traffic control audio recording of conversations pertinent to that event. More records exist but were withheld because they figure in an ongoing FBI investigation. What's new: "party balloons" reported at an altitude like that of the first two reporting aircraft, and a cryptic "Or Louisiana" by one pilot following another's rather famous "Only in L.A." comment about the occurrence, plus the additional context standard for The War Zone articles.
