Things get very serious and scary when Brent Swancer describes The Strange Life of a New Age Nazi Occult Leader and UFO Cultist in America. That William Dudley Pelley's racist and fascist views attracted such a following is a cautionary tale. Prophetic predictions were also Pelley's stock in trade and had the strangest of precursors in The Mysterious and Sinister Hunger Stones of Europe. Brent once again surfaces an uncomfortable element of the past, one which actually seeks to warn--or just frighten--our current age. (WM)
