Strange Falling Stones in Raigarh, India - The Fortean

Cropster shares his latest findings on a stone throwing poltergeist--or really bad neighbors--with news this time coming from Raigarh, India. As seems typical of these stories, the people experiencing the phenomenon are terrified, and authorities are oblivious to the situation despite the news coverage. But there's strangeness in more mainstream locales as well. The Mysterious Otherwordly Sphere of Florida was discovered in 1974 in a wooded area, where it sat utterly unscathed by the wildfire that had raged around it. The size of a cannonball and devoid of all features except for a strange etching, the sphere gained notoriety for its inexplicable properties, then disappeared from the media before any real research could be done as to its origins or behaviors. It remains unknown whether this strange object is still in the possession of a family tired of media attention, or if it found its way to another forest floor. (CM)
