Sometimes humans do things we wouldn't dream of ascribing to aliens. One wonders what possesses people to buy something like what Paul Seaburn describes, with the specified conditions he's describing. But, the almighty dollar (or pound) explains the offerers, and perhaps just whim suffices for the purchasers. Paul poses the apposite question about the Florida-based insurance policy: "Will it cover cows?" Nick Redfern touches on that issue in
Cattle Mutilations: How the FBI Got Involved. Nick considers this "an important question that requires an answer," and provides same in a worthwhile piece honoring the hard work and dedication of a New Mexican police officer named Gabe Valdez. Seeing something anomalous can certainly cause medical effects, per events described in
Colombia: Family Claims Having Witnessed UFO at Tatacoa. The photo for the article seems to show an object with two hot exhausts of some type, which might discourage the notion that something that has left the family "shaken" is of unearthly origin. Not so easy to explain is the "UFO phenomenon" that "stunned" another family, covered in
Ecuador: Alleged UFO Seen over Lago San Pablo. It sounds as if strange lights associated with the picturesque lake might be another "draw" to this touristy area. (WM)
