Black Cougar Sighted in McCraney Creek Trails - Oakville News

Cryptid news out of Canada: a black cougar was sighted in Oakville, Ontario. Authorities are claiming the witness had a run in with a labradoodle, but since no tail wagging, incessant face licking, or happy jumping and panting were reported, we have to assume officials are entirely lacking in imagination and in possession of a morbid fear of dogs. Meanwhile, the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker Granted Six-Month Reprieve from Extinction Declaration by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. It seems credible sightings of the endangered woodpecker have given officials pause, and it's hoped that sufficient evidence can be found over the next 30 days to keep it on the endangered species list.  (CM)
