The Questions Congress Should—But Didn't—Ask About UFOs - The Hill

One of the two men most responsible for the new UFO discussion writes an opinion piece on where we stand. Christopher Mellon may be a bit hard on the first Congressional hearing in 50 years, yet over-optimistic about what comes next. But he well summarizes what was learned during the proceedings, and does pose the tough questions that will need answers. Keith Basterfield considers the question Was it UAPTF Director John F. Stratton Who Communicated with SWR Researcher Ryan Skinner? An anonymous commenter believes it's highly doubtful, and Skinner responds. John Greenewald has variable certainty about UFOs and Government(s) as displayed in UFO Files at the Barack Obama Presidential Library (And an Update!). One main takeaway is an increased current interest in UFO topics among "mainstream" organizations. Another is the surprisingly large number of page-equivalents in the 26,271 electronic files potentially responsive to John's FOIA request. And back to Keith Basterfield for a summation about The Canadian Government and UAP--What Do We Know? Keith adds more background to the story of a June 2021 briefing of Canada's then-Minister of Defence. (WM)
