Take a Look Inside the $1.5 Million House That Inspired 'The Conjuring.' Its New Owner Claims to Have Already Experience...

A real estate developer in Rhode Island has purchased a notoriously haunted house, and plans to use the property as an overnight paranormal investigation business. It all sounds like a recipe for disaster: Move in with spooks. Bring strangers into house on an ongoing basis. Disrupt afterlives with investigative activities and ridiculous questions. What could possibly go wrong? How do you even get insurance coverage for that sort of thing? May we suggest a less invasive method of investigation, one with a more "gracious houseguest" vibe? Allow us to present baby monitors, the latest tech in ghost hunting. Or hoaxing. This next report illustrates the situation quite nicely as Baby Monitor Films Ghostly Anomaly Next to Sleeping Youngster. We're not convinced the "anomaly" is ghostly. It seems more "family pet getting a whiff of a full diaper." Or mom and dad having some clean fun with a video camera. Either way, no spooks—or babies—were disturbed in the making of the video. (CM)
