This first story features a pair of teenage boys trekking across the highlands to climb Ben Nevis. Making an ill-fated decision to stay at hostel overnight, their resulting experience of violent poltergeist activity leaves them psychologically scarred for life. Our next story also features a pair of lifelong boyhood companions: The Peeping-Tom Ghost of Wernafon is the spirit of a departed and deeply missed friend who takes his still earthbound pal to spy for a bit on a nearby estate a short time before the latter's demise. Finally we have this report on a 'Phantom Knocker' Causes Stir in Malaysia. Evidently several villages are being plagued by either the longest running game of Nicky Nicky Nine Doors or there's a group of poltergeists with time on their hands. To date, no one has been able to catch the trouble makers--either earthly or ethereal--and the "game" stops entirely when the police arrive. Maybe someone just needs to call the spooks home for dinner. (CM)
