MUFON Closes Report on July 22nd Winged Humanoid Sighting at O'Hare; Witness Opts to Speak with UFO Clearinghouse - Sing...

Cryptozoology and ufology share many possible crossovers. Tobias and Emily Wayland discuss a strange report--apparently one of several--about a "Mothman"-type creature at Chicago O'Hare Airport, itself the site of a major November 2006 UFO event. The Waylands link to their timeline of such Lake Michigan Mothman sightings. A rather different aerial phenomenon with apparently hostile intentions features in Stan Gordon's Attacked By A Thunderbird-Montgomery County, Pennsylvania-April, 2021. Stan cites other such cases; several in the same location. Brent Swancer takes us to England for another type of aerial monstrosity called The Mysterious Bat Beast of Kent. The story is indeed creepy, and Brent details how different paranormal "camps" categorize that localized 1963 flap. And George Knapp talks with "England's Stan Gordon" in Werewolves, Dogmen, and UFOs Spotted in English Forests. Like Stan, Paul Sinclair believes there's a connection between UFOs--another research interest of both--and a wide variety of other phenomena, especially including cryptids. Paul's interview and associated text presents several less-familiar English phenomena: animal mutilations; mysterious lights; liminal "thin areas" where our reality and Something Else impinge upon one another, affording passage between the two; and that "location is key" for many assemblages of paranormal Weird.
