A trio of ghostly situations. Note we say ghost-ly, as in ghost-like, because we're not sold on any of them, although we can see how the witnesses might be. First up, a couple of orbs gathered around a baby, as viewed through the infant's monitor. The parents believe the orbs are the ghosts of the child's late grandparents. We believe the parents should have grabbed their child the moment they thought something hinky was going on instead of giving him the starring role in the next episode of Ghost Hunters. Next up,
Women Claim To Capture Picture Of Ghost in Eastbury Manor House. Evidently the windows of the manor were completely dark when photos were snapped, but something photobombed the occasion. Our first reaction isn't ghost but we're not the ones who went to the trouble of traveling to Eastbury and taking photos. If these ladies want to believe they caught a spirit voguing for their cameras, more power to them. We'll finish off with a story that will compel you to suspend disbelief and possibly shake your head.
Ghost Hunters Claim to Encounter Spirits of Yorkshire Ripper and One of His Victims. One year after the serial murderer died in his prison cell, a group armed with a spirit box went spook hunting in the apartment of his last victim. Disrespectful? Probably. Inconclusive? Absolutely, as most spirit box sessions--in our humble opinion--require far more imagination to interpret than seems reasonable. Then there's the issue of why anyone would hope to have an otherworldly chat with a killer. Surely to goodness there are better choices for ethereal interviews. (CM)
