Jerry Clark's expose is most likely true and the Alexander Hamilton airship tale is more a "Dr. Who" episode than actual fact--after all, newspapers of that era made up diverting "fake news" when the real stuff flagged. This 1985 event led to one man's life changing, becoming largely a "crusade to get the object recognized."
