Mexico: The Mysterious Fireballs of Veracruz - Inexplicata

Cases from the Institute of Hispanic Ufology, some old, some new, courtesy of Scott Corrales. Here Vicente Barrera presents the results of an onsite investigation into a chronic local phenomenon with explanations ranging from the scientific to the magico-religious. Traveling down to Venezuela: UFOs over Caracas Airport (1972) apparently were tracked on radar as well as by eyes in the air and on the ground. Time for a diverting tale, as in Argentina: Misadventures in Navarro in around 1991 plagued Luis Burgos and his investigator friends. It wasn't supposed ET-antics causing their difficulties so much as the human element, which evoked "MacGyver" and "Beverly Hillbillies" references! Staying in that nation but fast-forwarding to the immediate Present, the situation gets dramatically serious in Argentina: UFO Pursues Airliner from Ezeiza Airport to Rio Grande. The Tuesday event left the passengers "in a state of shock" and was recorded by mobile phones. Heading north, in Costa Rica: An Unusual Nocturnal Photograph of a "buzzing" object is puzzling. Also in Costa Rica: Anomalous Object Recorded Over Construction Site, though daytime footage, may be less intriguing. (WM)
