The Strange Unexplained Vanishing of a Camping Couple in Australia - Mysterious Universe

There is no end to the places and things and creatures and unknowns that are capable of gobbling up a weak human never to be heard from again. This first report describes a pair of mature, seasoned campers who may well have met with foul play (or fowl play, because Australia is filled with things that will kill you). Then there's The Bizarre Vanishing of Esther Dingley. The whole story is a little odd given that engaged couples don't typically unplug from the world and head on a European trek for six years. We're leaning toward Esther making a break for it and starting anew, which is a far happier ending than this one: The Vanished Actress and a Mysterious Skeleton. The danger in being reclusive like this missing actress is that no one can tell if you've disappeared. Or died. And when all you leave behind is a dank and unlocked cottage with a skeleton seated at the kitchen table, folks are going to presume you just went off your nut and ran away. (CM)
