Well, the Naval employ of Dr. Salvatore Pais has concluded "in what appears to be a scientific dead-end," and a Navy spokesperson has answered some of Brett Tingley's questions. But Brett (and we) still don't feel sufficiently enlightened. Brett sums up the known status quo on the matter, and is working to find out more about what's going on with Pais and his current Air Force job. Well, that's a bummer; we'd almost gotten accustomed to the mind-boggling thought of applications for "intergalactic space travel."
