A Spirit in San Remo - The Fortean

Cropster takes a page directly from his 2014 book Australian Poltergeist which he co-authored with Tony Healey. In this excerpt he describes an investigation involving a family tormented by a polt that may (or may not) have been focused on their unusual teenage son. No amount of relocating deterred the noisy spirit, which was eventually exorcised (or bored by) some accomplished ghost busters, a group from the Mizpah Clinic of Mind Professionals. A similar story unfolded on the other side of the world in Canada in 1970: The Bizarre Tale of the St. Catharines Poltergeist took place in southern Ontario, and again focused on a teenage boy. This case was resolved in a tidier manner than the previous case however. Out of options and exhausted, the victimized family moved to Montreal for a time. Fortunately the polt activity did not follow them cross country and, upon their return home, had ceased entirely, leaving more questions than answers in its wake. (CM)
