Keith Basterfield alerts us to a new paper on the strategic implications of UFOs and how governments and militaries have and are reacting to them. A quick pass-through of the linked-to lengthy paper indicates Keith's done a good job of summarizing its contents. One might observe that heavy reference is made to activities highlighted since the December 2017 revelations of (at the time two) US Navy "UFO videos" and the existence of a secret Pentagon UFO studies program, known since 2012 as AATIP. Some may remark a general lack of what might be regarded as more neutral, countervailing (or jaundiced, depending upon one's point of view) sources and commentary on UFOs. Whatever, the paper will bear reading, and thanks to Keith for the heads-up. (WM)
