Tobias Wayland responds well to the second edition of Ryan Sprague's book
Somewhere in the Skies: A Human Approach to the UFO Phenomenon. Wayland praises its "people emphasis" versus larger "philosophical arguments and government disclosure." Nigel Watson, on the other hand, has nothing positive to say about
Alien Abduction: The Control Factor. Watson says the book is full of absurdities reflecting the larger "vat of despair and paranoia (much like ufology itself)" he considers the alien abduction phenomenon to be--
A Mire of Misery. Much of what Watson says is in the book would seem extreme within the abduction community. In
The Saucer Afterlife - The Woodrew Update Update Aaron Gulyas reads and comments upon passages in a 1986 newsletter of Contactee Greta Woodrew's S.T.A.R. Foundation. Gulyas critiques his subject more dispassionately, but just as effectively as does Watson. (WM)
