New Unsolved Mysteries Netflix Series Review: Dude, Where's My Paranormal Content? - Daily Grail

Miguel ("Red Pill Junkie") Romero was wowed by the original Unsolved Mysteries tv series featuring the inimitable Robert Stack. Maybe Stack's stature explains the lack of a presenter-figure in the current version, yet what most bothers "RPJ" is there's just one UFO episode among the six in Season One. But the September 1, 1969, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, abductions did rate as "a must-watch episode," for several interesting reasons RPJ relates. A different sort of dramatic possibility is discussed in Kevin Randle's interview with John Steiger. It's been said that the "UFO case" could be proven in a court of law. Steiger tests that out for three specific events--Roswell in 1947, Rendlesham Forest in 1980, and the 1989 Brooklyn Bridge Abductions. But what sets The UFO Trilogy: Dramas For The Stage apart is that Steiger has crafted his book so that actors and live audiences can participate in the action. For a straight reference work, Nigel Watson gives high praise to the Historical Fieldwork of Mike Covell. The East Yorkshire UFO Files is just one of the largely-paranormal tomes put out by Covell, whom Watson praises for his organization and efforts to track down witnesses and archival information. The result: this book produces much new stuff, and a wide variety of fascinating UFO cases from what seems to be a very interesting part of England. (WM)
