The Failure of the Ancients to Describe UFOs (And other Things)? - UFO Conjectures

Rich Reynolds considers some "UFO cases" very old and more recent, each possessing certain dreamlike qualities. Firstly, Rich decries the generally poor work done on a potentially valid subject of possible UFO cases in remote times. The simplest explanation of the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel's vision is indeed just that, although Josef F. Blumrich's The Spaceships of Ezekiel gets props for a pretty good effort 47 years ago. Fast-forwarding to the near-present, Rich presents the Cootamundra, NSW 1968 [Encounter?]. Again, a remarkably interesting story, with added interest because the percipient initially lacked the words to describe it properly until technological progress made it possible to do so. Two years closer to the present, Rich ponders A 1970 Encounter (With Attending Clues as to What UFOs Are?). This double-witness case and its aftermath possess more than a "scintilla" of human interest, and on the phenomenological side, might indeed be amenable to Jose Antonio Caravaca's novel "Distortion Theory." And then there's the Alien Abduction and Photo from Yorkshire England!. Apparent physical effects in this particular confrontation complement the personal credibility of the witnesses in all four of these encounters (no one here is going to "diss" Ezekiel!), so they're all solid if ultimately inexplicable conundrums.
