Glasgow Boy re-examines the Nessie footprint-hoax of 1934, which was attributed to use of a four-toed hippo-foot ashtray. But what about the reported three-toed imprint found about the same time? GB does much head-scratching over this conundrum. Luckily, he hasn't encountered A Mysterious Character Seen at Loch Ness, for if he did, he might have the same terrifying experience as "Nessie-seeker/researcher" Ted Holiday in 1973. A black-clad figure at the Loch side gave him the silent treatment, after which Ted fled, only to return a year later and suffer a heart attack at the same spot. (LP)
