The term "Shared NDE" has a somewhat frightening ring to it, like a dual car crash scenario in a medical drama. In this report however, there is no drama. Rather there is a shared experience of deep and abiding past love beyond the veil accessed by a Reiki practitioner and her comatose patient. Stranger still is the resultant lasting relationship carried forward into this reality when her patient recovers.  But there are New Clues Found in Understanding Near-Death Experiences. Researchers are studying both the anecdotal reports of individuals who have experienced NDEs and of those who have had NDE-like experiences through the use of psychoactive drugs.
