"Unidentified", TTSA & The Paranormal Stew - The Oz Files

Bill Chalker caters in food for thought as we prepare to watch the concluding episode of the TTSA/History tv series Unidentified. He's got background on the guy who seems to brief TTSA members on a UFO incident of high significance during their Italian visit. How exactly this segment of the program is presented and related to that larger activity will be very interesting. Not sure how the former Senate Majority Leader is reacting to the Unidentified series, but Ray Hagar describes a Harry Reid Happy to Talk UFOs and Science, not 'Little Green Men'. Reid is playing it correctly, but media folks are still misidentifying snaps from the ATFLIR videos. We're pretty suspicious of the images in Paul Seaburn's A Flying Saucer UFO Sighting in San Agustin--the Other One. Paul relates the classic story of the supposed "other Roswell incident" and is rightfully dubious about the current internet sensation. The problems Paul notes about provenance indeed move "the needle on the Skeptical Meter to just a hair away from 'Hoax'," and we, like Paul, would need more information before even suggesting a serious effort at photoanalysis be made.
