More on the Matter of Supernatural Monsters & Creatures - Mysterious Universe

This is a great explanation by Nick Redfern of the ways in which weird and inexplicable creatures, i.e. cryptids, do not have to be supernatural in nature. Sometimes an incredibly terrifying monster ripping apart livestock is not a chupacabra but a pack of wolves. And sometimes the red eyes we see in the woods do not belong to a wolf but to a Mothman. And speaking of keeping a cool and rational fortean head when dealing with weirdness, a new book has just dropped and we have the Book Review: ShukerNature 1, by Dr. Karl Shuker, and it's entirely positive. Shuker's intense passion and sheer joy at examining and documenting our ever widening cryptid world makes this book a must read for anyone fascinated with the creatures that stay in the periphery of our experience.
