Dangerous Doubt: Unwarranted UFO Skepticism May Be at Odds with National Security - Mysterious Universe

Micah Hanks mulls over the "mostly straight faces" in mainstream media coverage of UFO-related news since December of 2017. Such has been encouraged by the Navy's recent announcement that it's revamping reporting procedures for unidentifieds. Hanks asks why shouldn't the military take seriously anything it can't identify that seems to pop in and out of our airspace with impunity? In The US Military Really Doesn't Want to Talk about UFOs Anymore BGR's Mike Wehner provides an example of the new media approach. In his blog Hanks argued "it's sometimes necessary to apply a bit of healthy skepticism to Skeptics." Jason Colavito's post Garry Nolan Gives an "Alien" Metals Update and Shares His Postmodern UFO Views may be read with this in mind, though Jason does make several good points. (WM)
