Argentina: UFO Tails Mirage Fighter - Inexplicata

Aerial encounters with UFOs have seemed to multiply of late, but Guillermo Gimenez doesn't indicate the date of this particular photograph. It appears to be at least of 2012 vintage, judging from the official website of Carlos Ferguson, the cover of whose book Encuentros entre Pilotos y OVNIS en Argentina it graces. With Argentina: A New UFO Sighting Along the Tin-Tin "Straight Segment" we have a common case of folks noticing an anomaly in an image only some time after its capture. However, enlarging the headline image certainly produces a provocative result, while enlarging the second photograph in the article gives one a good idea of the area's awesome panorama, complete with almost-extraterrestrial-or-rifle-shell-looking vegetation. Maybe the "many stories, anecdotes and legends" surrounding the region are justified. With Argentina: Workers Allegedly Recorded a UFO on Santiago and Laprida video the person responsible was aware of the object, which in the video looks like a sizable "Cheerio" floating in the sky. While an oddly-configured balloon would seem possible, the thing seems to move rather smartly towards the end of the video. (WM)
