Hard to believe, but people have been reporting Bigfoot encounters for centuries. Some have been against the tapestry of indigenous culture, some have been surprise encounters with no background knowledge, and still others have been hoaxes, some of which stuck better than the truth. And still we don't know with 100% certainty whether that hairy hominid is real. Unless of course you have had a personal encounter. Woman relives the terrifying moment 'ginger' yowie pushed her down a hill after she 'surprised' it on a walk. This particular yowie/wildman had a real dislike for visitors. Or maybe it didn't like being interrupted in the middle of doing its business. (That always puts us in bad mood!) But the most impressive part of this story is how the woman he pushed was able to jump up at the bottom of the hill and make a run for her car. Pretty sure the average non Aussie would have just lain there a few moments while the carrion eaters circled above, trying to figure out what the heck just happened. (CM)
