Prolific writer Nick Redfern is always a good interview, and this one with Gene Steinberg and co-host J. Randall Murphy is especially interesting. The conversation centers around two recent tomes, the first of which is
The Black Diary: M.I.B., Women in Black, Black-Eyed Children and Dangerous Books. Nick explains that this May 2018 release in rather a capstone to his five books on the Men in Black (M.I.B.) phenomenon, and additionally differs from its predecessors in being, literally, a journal of his weird experiences incurred while researching this strange subject. The book that gets the greater discussion is Nick's imminent
Area 51: The Revealing Truth of UFOs, Secret Aircraft, Cover-Ups & Conspiracies. This, says Nick, is a history of that fabled site, with heavy emphasis upon the UFO component to the story. Nick then fields questions about Bob Lazar, reverse engineering and Philip Corso, and Nick's research on possible efforts to "smoke out" Soviet spies with stories of alien spacecraft stored at the Nevada site. Almost astoundingly, the conversation ends with yet another Redfernian book, expected to be available around April, called
UFOs and the Kremlin: Russian Meddling in Flying Saucers, which turns the idea of U.S. efforts to confuse the Soviets upside down. (WM)
