A Ghost Story - A24

This is a first for The Anomalist. On Black Friday I watched A Ghost Story and can not recommend it enough. It's not a ghost story in the vein of Topper nor The Conjuring, standing in stark contrast within a media market dominated by Disney capeshit and marketing focus group retreads. If the latter are your cup of tea, I wish you well and understand this film may not be for you. But if you're intrigued by one human's vision of an afterlife, with a profound dash of Time Loops, I can only say patience pays generous dividends in the context of this film. To say any more will spoil the film. A Ghost Story is available on Amazon Prime and other shadier, but far more honest, outlets. (CS)
