Paul Dean Interview - The Paracast

Gene and co-host J. Randall Murphy go global with Australian archivist Paul Dean. Dean does the detail-oriented, frustrating, and absolutely crucial while rather undervalued work of acquiring often unsuspected documentary information from various governmental files. Dean's findings on the career of Richard Doty, opinions about different countries' Freedom of Information programs, and the discussion on when "unknown tracks" become "NRUs"--"NORAD Remaining Unknowns"--stand out among many interesting topics. Early in this Paracast conversation Dean mentions the subject of Greg Bishop's Chris Lambright--X Descending, Paul Bennewitz, and the Air Force. If you're not familiar with the basic Paul Bennewitz story, you may want to read up a bit before listening; because after you do hear this podcast, you'll likely want to learn more about a fascinating as well as dark sidelight in UFO history.
