Strange Apartment

First post on this subreddit, hello.

So this happened to me when I was a baby, on a trip to Switzerland with my parents. I’m telling this weird story through their accounts.

We were staying in a very old apartment building, which my parents describe having a very odd feeling to it. I’ve heard that the bedroom in particular was the main place where these threatening, bad vibes were originating. They mention constant sounds of movement from within the rooms, feelings of being watched. Both of my parents are sceptics.

It was night-time, and I had been put to bed.

Already, strange events had occurred- my mother reports with absolute certainty that one night she was laying in bed, and felt something lay down beside her, then eventually get up again. Thinking it was my father, she didn’t mind, and thought that he was walking around the room. But then, the door opened, and my dad was returning from the bathroom.

But on this night, my parents were to come back in to check on me, only to find that a cord from a lamp had been wrapped tightly around my neck multiple times. I was asleep. They do not know how to explain this, as I was a baby, and so I was in a cot- perhaps eliminating the possibility that I had reached out and wrapped it around me in my sleep. This also seems unlikely as I am a very still sleeper. My parents do not recall anyone else in the apartment at the time.

I’d be interested in hearing theories on this, as I personally find it interesting. Hopefully you do too.
