I had recently posted a story about how I heard my cat eating from his food dish outside my bedroom door after he had passed away. ( Knowing it couldn't have been either of my current cats because they we're alseep in bed with me.) I also wanted to share today that earlier this week while I was in bed playing with my phone and waiting to get tired enough to sleep I felt a cat jump up on my bed. My 1st reaction was to reach out and pet it but when I did there was nothing there. My bedroom door was closed and both my current cats were out in the living room with my SO. I would have chalked it up to my imagination but a few minutes later I felt it jump down. I even heard the distinct jingle of my old cats tags on his collar for a moment before it went silent again. This was something my old boy would do often. When he was alive He would regularly "do his rounds" as we called it. He would come into my room and hop up on the bed as though he we're making sure I was there before jumping down and leaving to go sleep on his favorite desk chair in my office. It was a nightly routine of his that, unfortunately, as he got sicker, he stopped doing. Unlike that night I heard him at his dish I didn't cry this time. All I did was say goodnight to him as I often did when he was alive. I haven't experienced anything else since that night and am curious if he'll be back.
