Weird Ball In My Room (WEIRD SHIT!)

This happend a few years ago i think it was in 2009

My parents were sleeping but i was still awake and i heard like a cracking like noise.

Then i hear my parents yelling and i ran to them, When i entered their room there was a goddam electrical like ball hovering above their bed and then it like shot trough the wall and all the electricity in house was gone. We actually had to call some repair service but there was no damage in the wall. PLEASE EXPLAIN
