Official DNA Results for Peru's Three-Fingered Alien Mummy - Mysterious Universe

We've all been wondering at the silence that fell upon the Peruvian "three-fingered alien mummies" story. Well, our man on the case, Paul Seaburn, reports the "official" results on the matter. Independent researcher Steve Mara claims that 1.5% of the genetic material from star "mummy" "Maria" was "unknown." Qualified scientists need to evaluate the Sri Lanka laboratory results, and other outside labs really should have been employed as a "check" before this publication. Given experimental error, the condition of the Maria body, and what now is known of the genetic makeup of South Americans in Maria's times, this may not be so extraordinary a finding. The "mutation in [Maria's] genes" business sounds very much like the multiple mutations demonstrated on the "Atacama Alien" child, which still turned out to be fully human, as shown in Whole-genome sequencing of Atacama skeleton shows novel mutations linked with dysplasia. And it appears that everything else--three-fingeredness, eye socket size, elongated skull, even Maria's status as a "mummy"--all are explicable as coming from an unethically altered human.
