Throwaway account; I don't like discussing topics like this with people I know. Hopefully this doesn't fall under rule 6, as I'm 100% certain I was awake during this time. A few days ago, I woke up to find myself in a sort of sleep paralysis state. Big deal, happened to me all the time and I can somewhat break my way out of it. But this time, my vision was blurry, and I could only somewhat move before being somewhat forcibly snapped back into the same position I was laying down in. Every time I sat up, no matter which way I moved, I was snapped back into the same position. I eventually was able to sit up entirely, legs hanging off my bed and all. I looked around my room since something felt off, and as I looked behind me I saw my own body laying down, my eyes were open but other than that it was almost like nothing was there. This kind of shocked me then I suddenly woke up again, in my original position. Everything was as it was before I 'woke up' (clock was the same time, my pet snake in his tank was in the same position). Did anything actually happen, or was this just a really vivid, really weird experience with sleep paralysis? Keeping in mind I've had to deal with sleep paralysis countless times and this has never happened before.
