Dr. Jack Hunter, Anthropology, Animism, Panpsychism and What’s Next - Skeptiko

Host Alex Tsakiris interviews one of our favorite young forteans. Jack Hunter, a recently minted PhD whose most recent book is Engaging in the Anomalous, has blazed a trail he calls paranthropology (and started a journal of the same name), which is an anthropological approach to the paranormal. But, as Alex notes, "that’s just the start of his paradigm busting." You might also listen in on Jim Harold's interview with law enforcement officer Greg Lawson, who recounts his experiences in an episode called The Paranormal Detective. It's certainly not a bad idea using law enforcement techniques to investigate paranormal case, but how far does it get you? (PH)
