A Miscellany of Australian Mystery Aircraft, 1903-1940 -- I - Airminded

The Land Down Under is our focus for some UFO (?) history. Brett Holman's first of two articles concerns sightings of claimed mystery craft in 1903 and 1911, the latter year in fact seeing a small Fall "wave" of such prodigies. A Miscellany of Australian Mystery Aircraft, 1903-1940 -- II describes a 1913 New South Wales sighting pair which caused levity in Parliament due to their early morning occurrence(s). On the other hand, an early 1928 report from Queensland was mostly laid to smugglers. Now to Keith Basterfield and Two Freedom of Information Requests, and the Australian Space Agency. Seems the Aussie government has no interest in UFOs/UAPs, and perhaps wishes the US didn't, as well—or at least not publicly.
