'More People Believe in UFOs Than Believe in Congress,' Says Congressman at Denver UFO Symposium - Colorado Times Record...

This year's MUFON International Symposium was held in Denver and included two "appearances" by important Congresspersons on the UFO issue. Representative Andre Carson, Chair of the May 17th House hearing on UFOs/UAPs, painted a positive picture in a pre-recorded video while offering the "testimony received was a good foundation for the work we'll continue in the months ahead." Carson also said "I look forward to working with all of you." Representative Tim Burchett "Zoomed in" with more pessimistic opinions of the testimony and preparation of the two witnesses. Colorado MUFON State Director Katie Griboski-Paige and other lawmakers and Symposium speakers also shared their perspectives. Consensus of Heidi Beedle's article: the hearings were hopefully just a first step, and Tim Burchett's urging those in attendance "to contact their elected officials regarding UFO transparency" should be taken to heart. UFO Symposium Lands in Denver illustrates some local tv coverage, while Barry Roth Author of A Brief History of Ufology on the 2022 MUFON Symposium is a rather substantive six and a half radio minutes with Colorado MUFON's Education Specialist.
