The DoD/DNI combo has answered Congress' latest move towards naming the new government effort to unravel the UFO problem. The name working its way through the lawmakers for the 2023 NDAA is "Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena Joint Program Office." John Greenewald unites the several latest announcements establishing the "All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office" together with a bio of new Director Dr. Sean M. Kirkpatrick. Though an enlarged responsibility is spelled out in the enabling directives, the newest title somewhat "softens" Congress' explicit "Aerospace-Undersea" reference, and the DoD/ODNI discussion reiterates focus on special use airspace and military sourcing of reports. Also noteworthy is Ronald Moultrie's statement "It is vital to our national security and the safety of our military personnel that we maintain awareness of anomalous objects in all domains."
Newsweek's Tom O'Connor offers
