House Panel to Hold Public Hearing on Unexplained Aerial Sightings - The New York Times

Next Tuesday will mark the first open Congressional hearing on UFOs in more than 50 years. Andre Carson, Chair of the House Intelligence Committee Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Counterproliferation, is making good on a promise which "may be the very thing that brings Democrats and Republicans together, at least for an hour or two." Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal provide background on the two scheduled witnesses and history behind this (hopefully) historical step. Keith Basterfield sounds a note of caution about the US Congressional Hearing on UAP -2022. Seems that Tuesday May 17th House hearing will have both an "open" and "closed" portion.
