Encounters at the Time of Death - Psychology Today

We start out the month with some heady but relevant discussion about NDEs and those left behind when the experience isn't a near miss. Crisis Premonition is the term used to describe the visions and/or sensations experienced by those having just lost a loved one without any means of knowing their loved one has died. The phenomenon is so well documented it should probably be included in funeral preplanning. It begs the question, Does an Afterlife Obviously Exist? Based upon the millions of firsthand reports from NDEers, and the notable commonalities in experiences, the answer is an unequivocal yes. (CM)
