Dr. Don Donderi Interview - A Different Perspective

Don Donderi is a research psychologist and former McGill University professor who's been interested in UFOs for more than 50 years. Don and host Kevin Randle chat about what's behind Don's new book Truth, Lies and ETs: How We Stumbled into the Universe. Don calls the book an introduction for the layperson who's been intrigued by all the recent UFO news and needs some grounding. Don and Kevin each agreeably express "A Different Perspective" upon several issues. Kevin's Congressional Mandate and Current Sightings recalls past governmental performance on the UFO question, supporting Kevin's own negative (and seemingly increasingly more likely) "take" on what's going to come of this latest excitement. Kevin finishes with an April 22nd incident he finds interesting. And, especially interesting to those of us trying to get to original sources for cases, we have Chasing Footnotes: Kevin Randle Edition and Chasing Footnotes: Kevin Randle Edition, Part Two. A George Eberhart effort struck a mnemonic chord with Kevin, and Kevin's frank that a very early practice of his was some hindrance in his further digging on an old case. But John Steiger "picked up the ball and ran with it," helping the cause, though questions remain. Real ufology is frequently an arduous task, often frustrating, at its best collaborative, and highly commendable, as in these examples. (WM)
