Some of the largest known dinosaurs known were like a whale with Nessie's neck and redwoods for legs lumbering across the planet. A set of sauropod tracks in Texas gave rise to the belief these beasts were semi-aquatic, floating their hindquarters while moving only with the front legs, but that theory no longer holds water.
