On August 6th, as part of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics "AIAA Aviation 2021 Forum," a panel discussion was held on "Advocating for Scientific Study of Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon." Christopher Plain makes clear that crew and passenger safety is the rationale behind the six-member panel, which included former US Navy pilot Ryan Graves, Dr. Ravi Kopparapu, Dr. Kevin Knuth, Peter Reali, Ted Roe, and Philippe Ailleris, persons of note outside of the UFO Community as well as within it. Plain describes points of each panelist's presentations and several concluding recommendations from the group. Plain's own conclusions on the event are also noteworthy.
