Senate Committee Reviews New Oversight for UAP Task Force - Mystery Wire

Duncan Phenix examines the supporting legislation for the DOD's UFO/UAP study efforts going forward. The eventual "entity as the Deputy Secretary of Defense may designate to be responsible for matters relating to unidentified aerial phenomena" is up in the air. The UAPTF is still on the job, as John Greenewald reports NASA Administrator Bill Nelson Scheduled to Receive Classified UAP Briefing August 17, 2021. Greenewald recaps his dealings with the DOD relative to this information. Writing in Air & Space Professor Dirk Schulze-Makuch offers some Perspectives on UAP From Across the Atlantic. These were gleaned from a workshop held by the German Aerospace Society, and considered the implications of the June 25th "Preliminary Assessment" from the U.S. Director of National Intelligence's office. Another focus: differentiating potential "signal"--of secret human technology, "new" natural phenomena, or alien intelligence--from known sources of "noise." And George Knapp says The Man Behind the UK's UFO Desk Doesn't Hold Back in New Interview. George and Nick Pope chat about British-U.S. UFO/UAP relations, what's currently going on in the U.S. government UFOwise, and Nick's upcoming keynote presentation at the 2021 MUFON International Symposium August 27-29 in Las Vegas.
